Terms and Conditions

Ivy Bridge College Planning, LLC agrees to provide the following services:

  • Via virtual meetings and the use of planning software:

    • Need-Based Financial Aid Analysis

      • Calculate your Student Aid Index for the Federal and Institutional methods

      • Project estimated future Cost of Attendance ("COA") for each college on your list

      • Compare SAI vs. COA for each college to determine need

      • Discuss percentage of need met for each college

    • Merit-Based Financial Aid Forecasting

      • Analyze the merit of your college-bound student (GPA, test scores, etc.) to assess likelihood of institutional scholarships at each of your selected colleges

      • Project an estimated dollar figure of merit-based financial aid per year at each college

      • Coordinate need and merit-based financial aid forecasts together over all four years

      • Discuss additional colleges that may be also be a "good fit" within certain criteria

    • College Savings & Funding Strategies

      • Analyze existing college resources, savings plans, and contribution rates

      • Discuss cash flow planning opportunities related to college

      • Discuss strategy of outside family contributions and their effects on financial aid

      • Discuss potential tax planning opportunities to improve your college funding plan

  • On-going support via client’s preferred method of communication (Zoom, phone, text, email)

Payment

All fees for service, less any applicable discounts, are due upon receipt of invoices.

Clients agree to an annual fee of $1800, billed monthly at $150.

Cancellation

Clients may cancel at any time after the $1800 fee has been met. If client wishes to cancel the service before the 12th month of service, client is responsible for the entire remainder of the $1800 fee.

Refund

Clients may request a refund if Ivy Bridge Planning, LLC cannot find savings equivalent to the amount of the fee ($1800) through any combination of the following strategies: lowering the SAI to qualify for more financial aid, finding criteria-comparable schools with lower net prices, successfully appealing for more financial aid, finding loans with lower interest rates, finding favorable loan repayment terms such as Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) plans, Income-Contingent Repayment (ICR) plans, Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), etc.

Confidentiality

All information furnished by you to Ivy Bridge Planning including your identity, shall be treated as confidential. You acknowledge and agree that for mutual protections, Ivy Bridge will keep clear and specific records and notes of meetings, activities, and conversations. We agree to not voluntarily disclose your confidential information without your written consent (unless required by law, court order, or agency directive). If Ivy Bridge College Planning is compelled to disclose such confidential information, we will attempt to give prior written notice to you.

Limitation of liability

I hereby release Ivy Bridge College Planning and its trustees, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any and all liability for, and waive any and all claims for, injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with my participation in the Planning Service.
